Indoor Mask Mandate Lifted In Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork) -- Masks are no longer required indoors in Stamford.

Mayor David Martin announced the mask mandate that's been in effect since Aug. 12 has been lifted.

He says a huge factor is the steady decline in COVID cases.

Wearing masks inside schools, however, is still required, as schools are mandated by the state.
