Timothy Cardinal Dolan Blesses Animals Used In Radio City Rockettes' Christmas Spectacular Ahead Of Rehearsals
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A tradition continues ahead of the Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes.
Timothy Cardinal Dolan blessed the camels, donkey and sheep used in the show's living nativity scene Tuesday. The blessings were done before the first day of rehearsals.
The living nativity scene has been part of the Spectacular since its inception in 1933.
The show starts Friday and runs through Jan. 2.
