Gov. Murphy Announces Expansion Of Access To Reproduction Health And Abortion Care In New Jersey

TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- New Jersey has expanded access to reproductive health and abortion care.

Gov. Phil Murphy announced the move on Monday.

The rules are adopted from a vote by the state Board of Medical Examiners.

In October, the board voted to eliminate medically unnecessary regulations on abortion.

Additionally, the board agreed to open new avenues for reproductive health care services across New Jersey.
