NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Federal prosecutors have charged a Long Island man, accusing him of making violent threats against the LGBTQ+ community.

Prosecutors say 74-year-old Robert Fehring had planned to place explosive devices at this year’s New York City Pride March.

Fehring was released on a $100,000 bond on Monday afternoon, and is on home detention in Bayport, where he is being monitored.
