Join other teens who love reading, bring your friends, or just hang out in the library community room. The summer library club enables teens to read a book or two while trying out other activities the library has to offer such as games and movies. Fridays at 3:30 p.m. throughout the summer. The program will culminate August 26, 2011 with a reading celebration at 3:30 p.m. For ages 13 to 18 years old.

Toddler Time

Toddlers from 18 months to 3 years old can enjoy interactive stories, action songs and fingerplays while spending time with other toddlers from the neighborhood. The program is limited to 20 children and their caregivers so arrive early. You can pick up your ticket on the day of the program at the information desk. Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m. throughout the summer.

In this workshop kids and teens learn how to tell a story. Throughout the summer students learn how to pick a story, how to tell it and practice communicating their story to the group. At the end of the summer students have a chance to showcase their new skills by videoing & sharing their stories. For ages 8 to 18 years old. Tuesdays at 1 p.m.
