The easiest way to spice up your wardrobe is with new accessories. The city is full of wonderful stores full of these, but here is a list of my favorite spots to help make your style a little more glamorous. By Alyson Schwartz.

Henri Bendel is known worldwide for its amazing selection of unique accessories and for good reason. From out of this world jewelry by up and coming designers, to a huge selection of headbands and barrettes, there collection can't be beat. Purses range from small and dainty silk jeweled evening bags to huge leather carryalls. My favorite items are their make-up bags which come in a huge range of shapes and sizes in their signature print. With something for everyone it is a must stop for tourists and locals alike.

With a huge selection of trendy jewelry, hair accessories, scarves and small purses, you would think a trip to Laila Rowe would put a huge dent in your wallet. But with very reasonable prices and their constant sales, you will have enough leftover to purchase any of the cute wallets that they also sell. Laila Rowe's seven locations in Manhattan and one in Queens, make it the perfect place to pick up a last minute item to make your Saturday night outfit a little more special.

While you might be interested to peak your head into Allsaints Spitalfields based on the intriguing window display, once you are inside you will be fascinated not just by their clothing, but by their accessories as well. Each piece is extremely unique, like all their clothing, and will definitely be a conversation starter at your next party. Their jewelry, small leather goods, purses and cold weather-wear will all add wonderful drama to your wardrobe.

If you are looking for a variety of small leather goods, purses, jewelry and other accessories, another favorite of mine is Tia's Place. With a location in Jersey City and a newly opened storefront in Grand Central Station, this clothing store stocks an excellent selection of reasonably priced goods. The staff is always friendly and their convenient locations make it a great stop when you are on the lookout for a fun new bracelet or purse.

Offering a variety of jewelry that range in style as much as they do in price, Fragments is a "don't miss" in Soho. A lot of their collection is made up of large statement pieces which can quickly change an outfit from boring to amazing. I especially love the collection by Nancy Bacich called Mesh Perfection. Beautiful, classy and right on trend, her chain-mail bracelets and necklaces are truly wearable works of art. But with over 50 designers to choose from you are sure to find the perfect accessory to make you feel beautiful for your next party.
