Dominique Ansel has done it again. The man behind the Cronut has now brought rich and creamy Burrata Ice Cream to the Dominique Ansel Kitchen in the West Village. This new soft serve has hints of buffalo milk and is topped with sweet balsamic caramel and microbasil leaves. Make sure you finish the homemade honey tulle cone because you'll find a sweet confit strawberry inside. Skip the traditional vanilla soft serve this summer and make your way for its Italian cousin. A cup or cone will cost you $7 but it's definitely worth it. Available Friday-Sunday from 12 p.m. - 9 p.m.

This summer, pastels are the name in the nail game. From pretty pinks to opaque glittery tones, it's time to make a statement with more subtle colors. Cherry Garden Street by Nails Inc ($15) is a great option for those who want the lighter version of a metallic look. Essie's Peach Side Babe is the perfect sun-ripe peach hue while Mac's Bleu Velvet is certainly a nod to mod. Butter London Nail Lacquer also makes a cozy color called Kip, which is a pale blue that is both simple and pastel chic.

Did you know that Marsala is Pantone's color of the year for 2015? The rich earthy hue flatters many different skintones and the seductive shade brings a bit of warmth to the face. Sephora has an entire section dedicated to this color so whether you're looking for a bold lip or a sweep of highlight across your cheeks, you'll definitely be able to find it. Try something other than your typical black eyeliner with Sephora + Pantone Universe's Marsala Metalshine Liquid Liner ($18) or get the perfect pout with Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics' Stained Gloss in Nomad ($18). Urban Decay also makes an eyeshadow palette called Naked3, which is filled with a wide range of marsala-inspired shadows that will make green and hazel eyes stand out.

The flatform is back! Yep, the flat shoe with the raised sole you may have seen back in the 70's and 90's has once again been spotted on this year's catwalks. Designers like Kate Spade, DKNY, and Michael Kors, are reviving this trend with translucent soles, bedazzled straps, and overall bright colors. You may also notice that laces are making a splash again. From cute bows around the ankle to to gladiator sandals that go all the way up to the knee, laces are making a statement in a big way this season.

Hair: Decorative Headpieces

This season it's all about the decorative headpiece. Grab a fresh flower and pin it into your ponytail or secure your bun with your favorite piece of jewelry. Perk up any hairstyle by adding a gilded headband – you can even tilt it onto your forehead for a boho chic look. Looking for something a little more playful? Fasten a few strands of your hair with fun glittery bobby pins  - try these cute ones from ban.do - or make a statement with fabric or animal-themed pins - like these from Etsy. Another cheap way to look stylish is by adding in a colorful scarf to your favorite hairdo. It won't cost you anything and it's a great way to keep your hair out of your face.
