Alright guys, your least favorite day of the year is coming up: Valentine's Day.

We know that buying chocolate, jewelry and flowers for the special someone in your life isn't exactly your idea of a good time, and neither is paying for an overpriced, lackluster meal that's supposed to be "romantic".

Despite how overrated this day is you might want to considering putting some effort in and showing a little passion, because well if you do, you might have a small shot at getting lucky… in the gift department that is. So in order to get the romance flowing this V-Day, take a cue from the French (no, we're not suggesting a ménage à trois) and head to Monte-Carlo NYC for a delicious yet dreamy meal. After all, nobody knows romance quite like the French do.

Monte-Carlo NYC is the newest French restaurant to hit the Upper East Side, and it certainly brings all the charm of Paris with it. With chic exposed brick and luscious leather banquettes, you'll feel completely relaxed while you dine on entirely handcrafted food made from the highest quality hand-picked ingredients. So sit back and enjoy delicious house favorites like the Duck Leg Brined with Confit, and the Classic Pike Quenelles and Lobster, as well as decadent desserts like the Warm Grand Marnier Soufflé and the Strawberry Melba with Vanilla Ice Cream, all while you sip signature cocktails like the L'Opera and the Casino Royal (after all you are in Monte-Carlo). Perhaps you could throw a luscious glass of red wine in there too.

Sounds like a pretty good Valentine's Day to us. Who knows, you might even get one of those French kisses out of it.
