When the word smoky comes to mind, we're guessing that Smoky the Bear, campfires, and how your apartment smells after your roommate has his tree loving friends over comes to mind.

Well, what if we told you about a different kind of Smokey that's way more famous and is pretty much responsible for the invention of Motown, basically revolutionizing the music industry?

Yup that's right, we're talking about Smokey Robinson, and if you've ever had the desire to see him perform live in concert, well now's your chance. On Thursday December 11, Smokey Robinson himself, brought to you by WCBS-FM, will be at the Barclays Center and performing his greatest hits and songs off his new album "Smokey & Friends" that people like Elton John, Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor (just to name a few) partnered with him on. Seriously though, you won't want to miss out on this concert. Like come on, this is the dude who brought you the ever iconic songs "My Girl" and "You've Really Got a Hold On Me".

Don't worry though, we get it; iconic R&B music from the 1960's isn't everyone's speed. However, two tickets to this once in a lifetime show could make an awesome early Christmas for your parents, allowing you to finally take your rightful spot as their favorite child and shove it in your older sisters' faces. Just saying.

So head to the Barclay Center on December 11 and treat your ears to the iconic sounds of Smokey Robinson. But sorry guys, just because you're going to see Smokey does mean you get to do a little smokey before the show- that's still not legal.
