Callahan's Hot Dogs may be known best for their "Regular 9" and "Super" over a foot-long ripper-style dogs but they're also serving up some loaded fries that are worth a trip out to New Jersey (or find out where one of their two food trucks are cruising around). Choose from a variety of creations like BBQ pulled pork and cheddar fries, Freight Train fries (ghost pepper cheese and chili), Broad Street Disco Fries (house made brown gravy, mozzarella, and grilled onions), or Buffalo Bacon Blue Cheese Fries. They've also got their CinnaBun Toast Crunch Fries ready for dessert – sweet potato fries tossed in cinnamon and brown sugar and drizzled with warm vanilla icing. Is your mouth watering yet?

Stop by their Smorgasburg stand at South Street Seaport and nosh on their original, truffle, or Dutch-style (covered in curry ketchup, diced white onions, and lemon garlic aioli sauce) French fries. But definitely don't forget your side of homemade dipping sauce! Go for something like the Herbocado (avocado, tomatillo, cucumber, spinach, herbs, and a hint of citrus) or try something tangy, like the Malt Vinegar Aioli (malt vinegar reduction married with their classic aioli). You can never go wrong with the Jalapeno Cilantro, made with roasted poblano peppers, sour cream, chopped cilantro and pickled jalapenos. Plus, your fries come in a handy cardboard cone, so you can keep going on your culinary adventure. Booth is open from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

If you're looking for a sandwich filled with French fries then make your way to Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken. The Smorgasbird was named the "Sandwich of the Month" for July 2016 and we can see why – it's made with two classic Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken cutlets, stacked high with caramelized pineapple, shredded lettuce, tomato, crunchy pickled cucumbers, special sauce and stuffed with "Game Day" fries -- potato sticks slathered with BBQ pulled chicken, aged cheddar, sour cream, smoked bacon and pickled peppers. If you're the competitive type, take the #Smorgasbird challenge – attempt to finish this massive double-decker sandwich in under 5 minutes and encourage your friends to beat your time by sharing a photo or video on Instagram. If you tag a  friend, you could win a free Hail Mary platter -- including 25 wings, 25 chicken tenders, and one side (can we suggest some French fries perhaps?). You can also feel good about your sandwich purchase during the month of July, Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken will donate $5 to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Did you drink too much last night? Order the Hangover Poutine Montreal-style over at David's Café and you'll start to feel better in no time. Enjoy a plate of crispy French fries that are piled high with a house-blend short rib and brisket patty, mozzarella cheese and green peppercorn gravy. You also have the option to add a fried egg to soak up any leftover alcohol in your system. It's definitely big enough to share, but you might just want to take some leftovers so you can nosh on this deliciousness a few hours later.

The Fat Radish

As if French fries aren't decadent enough, the folks over at The Fat Radish are taking it one step further by frying them in duck fat. Their Truffled Duck Fat Chips are topped with Parmesan and pair perfectly with their horseradish ketchup. These crispy bites come on the side when you order their Bacon Cheeseburger, but you can always order up a side for yourself. You'll be glad you did.
