If you have a sweet tooth and you're craving one solid scotch cocktail, then make your way to Butter & Scotch in Brooklyn. Their Shark Week drink ($12) is an excellent choice - brown butter-infused Black Bottle Scotch, Cartron Creme de Cassis, Dolin Blanc Vermouth, orange and lemon. We have a feeling Mr. Ron Burgundy would order up their "scotchy scotch scotch" milkshake, The Nameshake ($16) – made with  Monkey Shoulder Scotch, Butterscotch Caramel, Vanilla Ice Cream, whip and toffee bits. Snack on some Butter & Scotchcorn (popcorn tossed with Black Bottle Scotch-Infused brown butter and salt) or good old pimento cheese and Triscuits.

Sit down at Highlands NYC and enjoy a Scotch Old Fashioned ($14). This classic cocktail is made with Glen Grant Major's Reserve, sugar, Angostura, orange bitters, and topped with a twist of orange. You can also opt for something sweeter, like the Blood & Sand – Single Malt Scotch, cherry heering, orange juice, Dolin Sweet Vermouth -- or the Rob Roy – Single Malt Scotch, Dolin Sweet Vermouth, brandied cherry, with an orange twist. You can also always get a Scotch egg to nosh on (don't worry, there isn't any actual scotch in there).

Enjoy a mix of IPA and scotch with the Hops/Scotch cocktail at Suffolk Arms. This drink has it all: Monkey Shoulder Scotch, lemon, apricot, almond, and a splash of IPA. Make sure to try one of the tartar dishes like the tuna poke with taro root and sesame, or the vegetarian beet tartar with golden and red Spanish cheese fondue. An order of bacon-wrapped dates will always pair well with this cocktail too.

Be adventurous and try the Safari Julep ($15) at Pouring Ribbons in the East Village. This delightful cocktail is a combination of Black Bottle Scotch, Hamilton Gold and 151 Rums, grenadine, chai, and a handful of mint. You can also pair your drink with a variety of handmade cheeses and fresh meats from Beecher's. Snack on the house nut mix, or if you want something sweet, grab the chocolate caramel brownie (courtesy of the folks from Salt of the Earth).
