If you're in the mood for something on the sweet side, then make your way to the Russian Tea Room. This iconic New York hot spot is serving up their signature cocktail: "From Russia With Love." Now, this drink will cost you a pretty penny ($20) but it's made with some pretty stellar ingredients. Sip on a combination of Champagne, Godiva chocolate liquor, and Chambord. It doesn't get much lovelier than that.

If you're going to splurge on one cocktail only, definitely make it the Astor Midnight at the King Cole Bar. Grab a seat inside the St. Regis New York's bar and try this refreshingly tart summer drink that'll set you back a cool $24. It's made with Stoli Blueberi, lavender syrup, limoncello, and Roederer Estate Brut Sparkling. Pair it with one of their unique bar bites like Porcini popcorn, chickpea samosa with cilantro mint chutney, or a trio of deviled eggs with bacon, truffle chive and caviar.

Try something new and sip on a frozen bubbly cocktail. Stop by the Alta Linea at The High Line Hotel and taste their Lemon Sgroppino. It's made with three simple ingredients: Limoncello, vodka, and Prosecco. You may not actually feel the bubbles on your tongue, but your taste buds certainly will. Another great option is a classic "Spritz," made with Aperol, Fever Tree club soda, and Prosecco. Bottoms up!

Johnny Swet is mixing up one seriously delicious summer cocktail over at The Skylark. The Coco ($18) is the perfect rooftop drink – a stylized fruit and botanical infusions made with peach, violet, chartreuse, St. Germain, Nolet's gin sparkling with Prosecco and floating strawberry pearls. You might have to pair this with an order of mac and cheese cupcakes or some Peking duck wontons. Also make sure to enjoy the view from 30 floors up.
