Whether you’re craving a cookie, ice cream, or a good old-fashioned milkshake, here are six ways to satisfy your sweet tooth. By Carly Petrone.
Grab a cookie (or three) with options like their “Classic Chocolate Chip,” that’s loaded with semi-sweet chocolate chunks. Or opt for a twist on a cookie classic, like the “Chocolate Duet.” This decadent cookie is made with dark cocoa, white chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate and walnuts. You can always amp it up with one of their ice cream sandwiches. Pick two of your favorite cookies and add vanilla bean gelato for a sweet treat that will leave you licking your fingers!
Go big and order The cookie milkshake at Black Tap Burger. This massively large vanilla shake is piled high with everything from chocolate chip cookie crumbles and chocolate syrup to an entire chocolate chip cookie sandwich. There’s also frosting coating the glass, as well as plenty of whipped cream to add to its sweetness. It’s certainly a celebration at this burger joint and milkshake haven.
Head over to Brooklyn for a scoop of classic vanilla chocolate chunk at Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. Grab a scoop and stake out a spot outside on the pier and enjoy the views of the Manhattan skyline and beautiful bridges. Just make sure to bring cash, since they don’t take credit card.
DŌ has the perfect cookie dough flavor with plenty of chocolate chip options. Try their seasonal “Spring Cake Batter” flavor, which is bursting with both chocolate and white chocolate chips, as well as sprinkles and cake batter base. It’s almost too sweet to handle – but we know you can do it! Order a 16 oz or 32 oz container to take home and share with friends. It’s safe to eat unbaked, so just grab a spoon and start celebrating! Walk-ins welcome from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Start off your morning with the overly decadent Chocolate Chunk Pancakes at Clinton Street Baking Company. If you’re not too sugared out, grab one of their chocolate chunk cookies on your way out the door at their bakery section. You can even get the recipe here.

Bite into their bestselling “Brookster” – a deep, dark brownie-base tart filled with chocolate chunk cookie batter – and enjoy the best of both worlds. Make sure to ask about their seasonal flavors too. Now, where’s that glass of milk to go with it?
