Lauren Weisberger is the New York Times bestselling author of The Devil Wears Prada and its upcoming sequel, Revenge Wears Prada from sister company Simon & Schuster. In Revenge Wears Prada, Andy Sachs is now running a successful high fashion bridal magazine with fellow ex-Miranda Priestly assistant, Emily Charlton and she's about to be married. But Miranda, the devil herself, still haunts her every move.

Lauren, a bestselling author, is one of New York's most fashionable residents herself. She shares some of her favorite NYC places to experience the city's fashion, food and art scenes.

I wouldn't exactly call it healthy, but all the food is super fresh and incredibly tasty. Easily the best comfort food (and those market sides!) in NYC. I eat in or order out from here at least three times a week.

It's a minuscule coffee shop in Chelsea that makes a killer skim latte. Sweet owners, open-air windows, and a bench right outside make it just about the perfect place to spend twenty minutes.

32nd between Fifth and Sixth has a high concentration of insanely good restaurants. It's always fun to wander around here and duck into any place that looks interesting—it will most likely be delicious.

I loved it here as a child, and now I love bringing my own children to check out all the animals and the planetarium. The Butterfly Exhibit is our current favorite.

And not just Shake Shack (although I'd die without it). All summer long they have free concerts, performances and exhibits. There aren't as many tourists as Union Square or Washington Square Park, and we always run into friends from the neighborhood.
