New York International Children's Film Festival

Treat your little ones to this annual fest featuring kids' flicks from around the globe held at eight Manhattan venues around the borough. Check out screenings like Rompe Ralph, the Spanish version of the U.S. animated hit Wreck-It Ralph. Give your kids a behind-the-scenes peak during one of the pre- or post-show Q&As with filmmakers and filling out their own voting ballots to help select the festival winners. Hurry and order your tickets now, as the festival is already in session and will end on March 24.

Macy's Flower Show

During the winter holidays, we love window-shopping at Macy's. Did you know that every spring, Macy's Flower Show kicks off the warmer season? This year from Sunday, March 24 - Sunday, April 7, Macy's focuses on India's formal gardens with jewel-toned flowers and iconic cultural images, like a 10-foot elephant made entirely from festival florals. Macy's hosts free family events in conjunction with the Flower Show, like this year's Reading Circle, Family Fun Day and a Flower Power Juniors Event, all happening on March 24. Get the kids excited for summer at Coney Island's Luna Park on their opening day on Sunday, March 24. Try out some new rides, enjoy classic favorites and enjoy your guilty food pleasures before the end of the school year brings long lines of tourists and vacationers.

LEGO 4D Cinema

On Wednesday, March 27 explore LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester on their opening day in Yonkers. This interactive center is great for elementary aged kids. The center's attractions include LEGO® Factory, LEGO® 4D Cinema, Kingdom Quest, The LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Shop, Earthquake Tables, Birthday Rooms for parties and so much more.

Anna Banana Band

On March 23rd, April 20th and May 18th families can enjoy a 75-minute cruise to Statue of Liberty with an interactive tour guide on Circle Line Line's Kids Cruise Spring Series. Each cruise includes prizes and giveaways, performances by Anna Banana Band, as well as a face painter, balloon artist and magic show. Boarding starts at 9:30am, sailing from 10:00am-11:15am. Pricing is $28.00 for adults, $20.00 for children ages 3-12. There's also a new Circle Line Kids Cruise Birthday Package offered at $49.00 per child including a reserved birthday table for the birthday boy or girl's guests, Captain's Kids meal and souvenirs.
