Summer is well underway and there are plenty of events this weekend to help you cool off your tastebuds. Get your dose of culture, education and food, all with a healthy serving of hooch at these boozy NYC events. By Selena Ricks-Good.

Sample more than 100 Belgian and Belgian-inspired brews, from Trappists to Tribels, from Lambics to Dubbels, all while nibbling on Belgian cuisine including oysters, bratwurst, artisanal cheeses and chocolates and more. The all-you-can-taste event is being held in four sessions over two days, with VIP hours available. Other craft brewers, including locals like Greenport Harbor Brewing, will also be handing out samples of suds.

Part of a series of wine tasting cruises, this trip aboard the vintage motor yacht Manhattan will feature a range of Greek wines paired with artisan cheeses. Wine professional Wendy Crispell will lead discussion on the different grapes and trends of the region, as well as share how to make your own marinated feta.
