The Best Bars & Restaurants To Watch The Super Bowl & Order Take Out

Park it at Astoria's Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden for the day and enjoy $10 pitchers, $5 Bushmill shots, and appetizer specials all day long beginning at 4 p.m. Start tailgating and gear up for the big game at the oldest beer hall in New York. Bring your friends because there's no cover and plenty of brews (and sauerkraut) to go around.

Professor Thom's

Professor Thom's is ready to welcome Patriots fans to their tailgate party starting at 12 p.m. Yes, it's a good six and half hours before kickoff, but they're offering giveaways, specials, and some of the best Boston beers on tap. It won't be hard to watch the game thanks to 17LCD televisions and a high-definition projector surrounding the 41-foot bar. Bottoms up!

Who can say no to Guac-to-Go Party Packs? Rosa Mexicana is offering up this sweet deal but you must order by 5 p.m. on January 30th. Each pack includes their homemade guacamole, chips, and salsas for groups of 5 ($25), 10 $(50), 15 ($75), or 20 people ($100). Pickup times are from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on February 1st but check their website first to see if you live within one of their delivery zones. Who says dunking doesn't go with punting?

Meatball Shop

The Meatball Shop will be screening the Super Bowl at Underballs at Chelsea with Free Mini Buffalo Chicken Balls during the first quarter and $4 PBR drafs all night long. Feel like taking some balls to go? Each shop will have a Bucket O' Balls available for take out for $45. There's even a special flavor for Sunday's game: Pizza Ball. Stock up and be the hit of your party or grab a seat and enjoy the game with friends.

Two words: Nacho bar. For $50/person, Sweetwater Social is throwing a Super Bowl party for the serious foodie. Stop by one of the many carving stations (yes, this includes the nacho bar) and feast on a whole pig, ribs, turkey, prime rib, and a slider and wings tower. Take advantage of the feast and open bar for $95/person but make sure to hold your spot by making a reservation here. There will be games, contests, shuffleboard, foosball, video games, and a photo booth for you to commemorate what is known as an unofficial American holiday. Oh yeah, and you can watch the game on one of their four big screens. Doors open at 5 p.m.

The West Village Italian restaurant will be serving up a $40 pig roast buffet that includes Whole Roasted "Flying Pigs Farm" Hogs, Grill Ribs, Kale & Celery Caesar Salad, Sautéed Broccoli Rabe, Rosemary's "Pig Box" Potatoes, and Fusilli with Pomodoro, Basil, Burrata, and Pine Nuts. Several Super Bowl themed items will also be offered a la carte. Nosh on Lemon-Honey Bomba Wings, Fried Mozzarella, Vegetable Chips, and Smoked Sausage Meatball Subs. Wash it all down with $25 pitchers of beer and grab a table to watch the big game with your friends.

Surprise your partygoers with The Super Pang, the three-foot sandwich from Num Pang. This Cambodian-inspired Banh mi can feed 12 and is available in Five-Spiced Pork Belly, Peppercorn Catfish, Roasted Cauliflower with Eggplant Spread, Hoisin Meatball, or Num Cubano (pulled pork with ham and swiss). Sure, it may be $125 but it's worth the money. This massive sandwich is served with spicy chicken wings, spicy Cambodian slaw or kale & apple salad. Got an extra $40? Tack on a 6 pack of mixed 40 oz.
