Though you may not be able to hit up the Poconos this winter, we're sure, much like Miley, you actually have plenty of mountains to climb… and some that you may even want to move… So why not treat yourself to an après ski even if your mountains are at work?

In fact, why not make it a full 180 and head all the way down that mountain of yours to the sea. At your new ship themed hot spot, The Folly, you'll be able to forget about your troubles and enjoy the calm of the waters.

This bar is the coolest new spot from the team who brought you two of our other favorite bars, the Brooklyneer and Hill & Dale. As is true with these other bars, The Folly is fully engrossed in its theme—as you enter you'll find yourself surrounded by wood, ropes, and beautiful old chandeliers.

No need to worry about sea sickness here so grab any of the delicious wines, beers or specialty cocktails like the Tapping The Admiral (Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Ancho Reyes, Clementine, Pomegranate Molasses). And if you're feeling rocky just hold onto the ropes!

Though the Folly has incredible drinks, the food is not to be missed either. With seaside options like the Fish Sandwich, Salt Cod Tater Tots or Lobster Mac & Cheese in a Cast Iron Pan, by the time you're done, even your biggest mountain will seem like a bunny hill.

So head over to The Folly; it's a lot safer than skiing... as long as you don't drink too much.
