Although the service here might be brusque at times, the food at Nice Green Bo is undeniably consistent time and time again. The generous portions will leave diners satisfied and probably asking for a doggie bag. Don't miss out on the appetizers such as "Steamed Tiny Buns" which are $4.25, or the "Fried Dumplings" for $4.25. You might get your fill just from the appetizers. You'll have extra money to order more dishes on the menu if you still have room in your stomach.

Big Wong is known by locals for having "authentic Chinese food." You can order the typical "Beef and Broccoli" or "Lo Mein" and know it won't be prepared the same way as the local Chinese take-out joint in your neighborhood…unless you live in Chinatown. If you go there, try their Chinese comfort foods such as Congee with your choice of meat or Roasted Duck, Chicken or Pork dishes over rice or noodle. Each dish is under $6. This is definitely one of the best deals in Chinatown.

Most famous for their "Wonton Noodle Soup", Great N.Y. Noodletown restaurant has the best Wonton in town, hands down. The delicious wontons are made of fresh shrimp that are accompanied by hot broth and chewy noodles. Their "Pan Fried Noodles", which is under $11, with your choice of beef, seafood or chicken has a nice crispy texture and perfect balance. Other typical Chinese dishes are very authentic and affordable.

Bo Ky Restaurant has the best "Seafood Noodle Soup" in Chinatown. You get your pick of noodles to choose from and the large portion only runs you around $6. Bo Ky is also famous for their "Country Duck." Order a side of their steamed Chinese vegetables to go with your bowls of noodle. Be sure to put some of their delicious hot pepper sauce into your food…it's so good they've bottled it for purchase.

Yummy Noodles is one of the better places in Chinatown for Chinese BBQ. Go for the "BBQ Yummy Chicken Wings." The wings are perfectly roasted and brushed with sweet honey. If you want to try something different, the "Rice In Casserole" in various meats of your choosing is worth trying and a truly authentic Hong Kong style treat that goes for under $8 each.
