U.S. Economy Grew 2.6% In Q4 2018new gdp data shows the u-s economy grew more than expected during the fourth quarter. According to the commerce department, the economy expanded 2.6 percent in the final three months of 2018. While it was a slowdown from the prior quarter, it was better than expected.
