FBI: Doc, 8 Others, Charged In NYC Drug Ring

NEW YORK (AP) — The FBI says nine people, including a doctor, are charged with running a Manhattan drug ring.

Authorities say the doctor wrote fraudulent prescriptions. They say other participants sold the drugs, such as the painkiller OxyContin, on the streets.

Investigators were at a Harlem medical clinic on Thursday. Eight of the defendants, including the doctor, were awaiting court appearances.

This Doctor is an absolute disgrace if he is writing scripts like that. I hope they throw the book at him and find all the other Doctors writing for money also.
