NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Seven people have been wounded during a series of weekend shootings in Newark.
But no fatalities were reported.

City police have released few details on the six shootings, which remain under investigation, and it was not known if they were connected in any way.

The first three shootings occurred Friday night, followed by another on Saturday. Three more people — including as 17-year-old boy — were wounded in two separate shootings that occurred early Sunday.
