Thieves Target Elementary School In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBS 2) — Burglars targeted a Bronx elementary school and cleaned out the media room.

Thieves broke into P.S. 35 in Morrisania, stealing dozens of laptop and desktop computers, as well as ten digital cameras.

The equipment was valued at $30,000.

The burglars apparently got into the school through a window.

School officials said they didn’t have the money to replace the stolen items.

look at all those library books the thieves left behind.

  2. Pam says:

One would think that the school would have insurance for just such a situation. Truly, how can a public school not have it?

As the economy continues to slide downward, more and more crimes like this will take place. Those stolen items will be resold for a fraction of their value.
