3 Killed In Motorcycle Crashes In Manhattan, Queens

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/ AP) -- Three people riding motorcycles have died in two separate accidents in New York City.
   
Police say 18-year-old Jose Almonte-Castillo was killed after his Suzuki motorcycle struck a pole on the FDR Drive in lower Manhattan around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The passenger, 25-year-old Wasker Reynoso, was also killed.
   
About 22 minutes later, police say, 36-year-old Cory Burrus was killed after striking a guardrail and then colliding with another motorbike on the Van Wyck Expressway in Queens.
   
The other biker, a 27-year-old man, was in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries at Jamaica Hospital.
