Wicked Weather Leads To Air Travel Headaches

NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- The weekend's thunderstorms disrupted air travel out of the Big Apple.

American Airlines Flight 172 took off from Kennedy Airport Sunday night bound for Brussels, but was diverted to Boston's Logan Airport after hitting severe turbulence shortly after takeoff.

The Airline said there were no reports of injuries among the 159 passengers and nine crew members on board the Boeing 757.
