Gotcha! Vacationing NJ Family’s Photo Captures Thief

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The camera of a vacationing Essex County family who posed for a picture in front of the Wisconsin State Capitol captured more than smiles. It also caught a thief in the act.

John Myers, of Bloomfield, N.J., set the self-timer on his camera and hustled into the frame with his wife and two children Saturday. While their backs were turned, someone grabbed their bag, which held Myers’ wallet and other items.

After Myers discovered the bag missing, he checked his camera. Sure enough, the image showed a man picking up the bag.

Myers told the Wisconsin State Journal that he showed the photo to officers, who recognized the man.

When officers found him, he was still carrying the bag.

The suspect pleaded not guilty Tuesday to misdemeanor theft.

And stop using that lame leftist straw man to try to justify it. No one has told the Muslims that they can’t build a mosque. Those of us who oppose are saying “don’t do it THERE.” There are zoning ordinances across the nation that dictate where various businesses and other organizations can build. This is no different. There has already been discussion in NY about allowing this bunch to put the mosque somewhere else. But now that Obama has (again) stuck his nose in where it doesn’t belong, things are escalating out of control.

Why was the bag so far away from the man? It could have been someone checking it, although in this case it was a thief.

It’s hars enough today affording a family and you have prick low lifes robbing from them. That’s the State’s job boss!!!

Who is stupid enough to leave their bags unattended that far away from them?

The poor guy picking it up probably thought it was abandoned property.

These idiots do that in NY there would be calls re suspicious packages left unattended.

we will never have true equality until all the white people are criminals too.

Wisconsin is a dangerous place. Too many caucasian hoodlums for me.

If the guy way back in the picture with a black shirt and jean shorts is the thief stealing their bags and it’s not the polka dot looking one just behind his wife that was stolen then the quite frankly deserved to have their bags stolen. Better yet it should have been picked up by a passing officer and incinerated for being an unidentified potentially dangerous package.

Which responsible adult would leave their bag unattended sitting on the stairs to Capitol building then head roughly 40ft away, backs turned, to take a picture.
Maybe it’s just my New York state of mind but IF YOU SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING…. Hmm alleged thief could even use that to his defense.
