BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP/1010 WINS) — A Beverly Hills judge has issued an arrest warrant for Lindsay Lohan after the actress failed a drug test.

The 24-year-old Long Island native has been ordered to appear in court Friday and is now facing possible jail time for violating her probation.

Officials at Los Angeles County Superior Court say a bench warrant was issued Monday for Lohan. However, authorities say Lohan won’t be taken into custody pending the court hearing Friday.

Lohan confirmed on her Twitter page last week that she failed a court-ordered drug and alcohol screening.

A judge had threatened her with 30 days in jail for each probation violation.

Lohan spent two weeks in jail this year after violating probation stemming from convictions involving her 2007 arrests for drug use and driving under the influence.

Way to stay on point genius. It’s just your type of obfuscation and short attention span that creates an environment where no actual problems are solved, and no one stays focused. You should like one of the many useless talking heads on cable. For the record, since we’re in the corrective mood. It’s “Merriam-Webster”, and there is no such word as “Dumbing”, even if you put it in quotes, it’s a poor reach. I bet you could do better if you put a little thought into it between commercials.

Nicolas N.: You need help with written English. I presume that she does not have a problem with addition although she very well might. I think you are referring to “addiction” when you say “addition.” Addition is a mathematical operation. Addiction is a compulsive behavior that, because of psychological or physical reasons—or a combination thereof—one has difficulty stopping. Your verbs congruity is also incorrect. Successive verbs should be in the same form. Here, you use “to drink,” the infinitive, and “taking,” the gerund, successively. To be coherent, you should pick one form, e.g., “to drink” and “to take” or “drinking” and “taking.” Unfortunately, I doubt you will grasp any of this, and you will continue on in your use of fractured English thereby contributing to the “dumbing down” of America that has lately exacerbated and become acceptable even among the educated, perhaps, for fear of offending someone or being considered publically incorrect.
