Rolle On The FAN: Downtime Contributed To Loss
Safety Antrel Rolle spoke with Joe and Evan about the Giants 38-14 loss to the Colts on Sunday.
"It felt like the team was very, very flat," Rolle said. He partially attributed this from too much downtime in the days leading up to the game.
According to Rolle, the Giants arrived at Indianapolis on Saturday at 3 pm, and had the remainder of the day to rest. Rolle said that the team also rested all day Sunday also arrived at the stadium over 3 hours before kickoff at 8:20pm.
"We were sitting around the locker room, not doing anything. Honestly, I don't know what to do in a situation like that, because I've never been in a situation like that."
"I'm pretty sure a lot of other players felt the same way."
