NEW YORK (AP) - Soccer star Thierry Henry has paid $14.8 million for a triplex apartment in New York City.
The listings broker for City Connections says Henry made the offer after looking at the penthouse apartment in Manhattan’s SoHo district three times. It includes a bamboo grove in an interior courtyard.
The 33-year-old player could not be reached for comment.
The French forward joined the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer this year.
He was a member of the French teams that won the 1998 World Cup and 2000 European Championship.
