The guys opened up this Football Friday program talking a little Yankees baseball. CC Sabathia took the hill last night against Rays left-handed ACE David Price in what was being billed as a 'Cy Young Showdown' and CC came up flat and because of that the Bombers lead in the AL East was trimmed to just a ½ game. Boomer & Craig have both been openly pulling for the Yanks based on the Mets futility and they discussed if there is legitimate reason for concern and whether or not it makes a difference if they win the division or qualify for the post-season via the Wild Card. And needless to say, the guys didn't make it through the Open without commenting on the ongoing saga that is the Jets…

Then during Jerry's informative update, Craig predicted that Titans running back would run wild on the Giants Sunday afternoon, to the tune of 200+ yards and after that he claimed that he gets 'no respect'…

Famed Jets fan Fireman Ed had an altercation with a Giants fans during the Giants-Jets pre-season tilt back on August 16th and today we learned that his actions have landed him in some hot water. Then we had the classic case of 'the pot calling the kettle black' as 'Old Man' Joe Namath called Braylon Edwards drinking inexcusable. Now clearly Edwards getting behind the wheel was inexcusable, but as far as the drinking, well let's just say Namath has a bit of a history, which Craig brought up while discussing this story…
