Eat Drink and Go Shopping: Madison Square Mark't

Ladies and gentlemen: the days of leisurely strolls around outdoor marketplaces are coming to an end.  Take advantage of the temperate weather still in sight and hit up Madison Square Mark't.

This month-long shopping and eating bonanza is in it's second year.  Open now through November 1, local designers sell their fashion, jewelry, home goods, and eco-friendly designs to the public, while local restaurants set up shop to feed the hungry masses.

Food Square, the eating section of the marketplace, is as much a draw as the retailers. Sample fare from Cabrito, Fatty Crab, Hill Country Barbecue Market, Suzette, Viking Danish Cuisine and Wafels & Dinges, Almond, Artisan Cannolis, and other NY eateries.

When: Now through October 23, 2010.  Daily: 11am-8pm
