Straphangers Campaign Releases Subway Report

NEW YORK (CBS 2 / WCBS 880) — LIRR riders aren’t the only ones dealing with late trains. The Straphangers Campaign came out with the subway’s report card Wednesday.

For the second year in a row, the 7 line was found to be the best of the 21 subway lines and the C was rated the worst.

The rankings are based on car breakdowns, car cleanliness, and adequacy of announcements in the subway.

    MTA mismanagement is crippling NYC transportation… bus/surface is frustrating with many recent cuts, and ignores that very neighborhoods were BUILT/designed around trolleys/buses that replaced them. (Just as areas grew after getting a subway line/link to Manhattan, etc.)

    i find it a little hard to believe that the no. 7 train was rated better considering how many signal malfunctions they have.

    Now Lets do the B61 Bus in Red Hook Brooklyn that is never on time coming and going to work since they change that route
