No Injuries Reported At Junkyard Fire In Jersey City
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBS 2) -- Smoke from a huge fire in New Jersey made its way across the Hudson Sunday.
The three-alarm fire broke out around 11 p.m. Saturday in a Jersey City junkyard. The Jersey City Fire Department said the fire involved no buildings and that they were responding with cranes and fire boats.
Wind was not of concern.
Residents ten miles away in Brooklyn reported seeing the smoke.
Jersey City police said no one was hurt.
