NYC Investigator Found Dead At Atlantic City Casino

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (AP) – An investigator with New York City’s Department of Investigation has been found dead in an Atlantic City casino garage.

Police say the man died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The shooting was reported at about 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Police Capt. William McMenamin told The Press of Atlantic City the 49-year-old’s body was inside a car at the Caesars Atlantic City parking garage.

McMenamin says the man, whose name has not been released, had been missing for several days.
