Duke, Michigan State Highlight MSG's Schedule

NEW YORK (AP) — National champion Duke and fellow Final Four participant Michigan State are among the 28 teams on Madison Square Garden's 2010-11 men's college basketball schedule.

There will be the usual early season marquee matchups with the 2K Sports Classic Benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer, the NIT Season Tip-Off and the Jimmy V Classic.

Pittsburgh, Maryland, Illinois and Texas are in the Coaches vs. Cancer on Nov. 18-19, while Tennessee, UCLA, Villanova and Wake Forest are in the NIT Season Tip-off that concludes Nov. 26.

The Jimmy V Classic has Memphis and Kansas in a rematch of the 2008 NCAA title game won by the Jayhawks. The other game in the Dec. 7 doubleheader is Michigan State against Syracuse.

Duke, Georgetown, Syracuse, Connecticut and Pittsburgh are among the games St. John's will play in the Garden. The schedule announced Wednesday ends with the Big East tournament and the NIT semifinals and final.
