It was another long night for Yankee fans in the Bronx, and this time our guys Boomer & Carton were on hand to witness the debacle.
Who’s to blame for the Yankees’ Game 4 loss — A.J. Burnett for imploding, Joe Girardi for leaving the righty in too long, or Craig for his antics throughout the game?
To add injury to insult, Mark Teixeira crumpled in a heap at first base while running out a grounder. Teixeira’s MRI came back with a grade-2 strain of his right hamstring. The first baseman’s postseason is over, the injury will reportedly need six to eight weeks to heal.
The Yankees will try to steal Game 5 from the Rangers with CC Sabathia on the mound Wednesday afternoon. Craig thinks the Yankees win this one and head back to Texas down 3-2.
