Report: Knicks, Nuggets Resume Carmelo Trade Talks
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- According to reports, the Knicks have resumed negotiations with the Denver Nuggets, adding Danilo Gallinari to the Carmelo Anthony trade talks.
From the NY Post:
"The report says the Knicks rejoined trade talks about two weeks ago and have reconsidered parting with forward Danilo Gallinari.
"The Knicks would use Gallinari or Anthony Randolph to obtain a player the Nuggets like better, then work a three- or four-team trade to land Anthony, who continues to refuse to sign a contract extension offered by the Nuggets months ago. Eddy Curry and his expiring contract would be another part of the deal."
The Knicks have reportedly been Anthony's preferred destination, although it has been speculated that New York's income tax could sway the superstar away from MSG.
