Even though their season come to an abrupt halt over the weekend, the Yankees somehow still manage to garner headlines. Craig was disgusted when talking about the story where certain Yankee fans reportedly treated Cliff Lee's wife less than admirably when she was a guest at Yankee Stadium. Now the question becomes if that hurts the Bomber's chances of landing the left-hander when he hits free agency this off season. As of now, Lee is just concentrating on Game 1 of the World Series, which starts tonight. With the Yankees out of the way, the stage was clear to talk a little NBA basketball. The season kicked-off last night with the highly anticipated debut of LeBron James with the Miami Heat. James and the Heat lost to the Celtics and the dreams of an 82-0 season go by the wayside. The Knicks and Nets both tip-off their seasons tonight, as Boomer & Craig eagerly wait to see what the Knickerbockers bring to the table this year. The Nets tip-off their 2010-11 campaign in Jersey tonight and apparently there are still a few seats available if you're willing to spend a little money and I mean a little money. After getting tipped off by a caller, Craig checks out StubHub to find the cheapest ticket available would cost you a whopping $0.39. No that is not a typo; the cheapest ticket for tonight's Nets-Pistons game on StubHub was going for just THIRTY-NINE CENTS!!!!....

Just before 8:30 the guys were joined in-studio by a couple of sisters, Ali and Christina Christensen, whose story touched the heart of Boomer. You see Ali and Christina both battle Cystic Fibrosis, the disease that Boomer's Foundation has been set up to combat. Boomer heard about them after they appeared on the show 'America's Got Talent', which is hosted by Nick Cannon, so Al booked them to come and tell their story. Meadowlark Lemon played over 16,000 games for the Harlem Globetrotters and in Craig's eyes is one of the five best basketball players of all-time, so you can imagine his excitement when Al told him that he booked Meadowlark to join him and Boomer in-studio today.
