Now the fun begins. Derek Jeter's agent Casey Close made a statement yesterday talking about how the value of his client cannot be underestimated. This leads Boomer & Craig to believe that these contract negotiations could get very ugly, very quickly. The question now becomes who will Yankee fans back, the 'Captain' or the Bombers, because it is starting to look like there will be a line drawn in the sand and only time will tell how this will shake out. Meanwhile on the other side of town, those 'Not So Amazin' Mets have exercised their option on Jose Reyes and have also lowered their ticket prices. For some reason or another, despite winning a Super Bowl with the Ravens in 2000, Brian Billick is currently not a Head Coach in the NFL. Instead he is working as a game analyst for Fox, so in the grand scheme of things, his lack of a coaching job worked out well for us, because he had time to join Boomer & Craig to talk about everything going on in the NFL. Randy Moss of course came up, as did Donovan McNabb and then Craig put him on the spot and asked him about coaching the Dallas Cowboys and if he would have interest in coaching the team…

New York Giants lineman Chris Canty joined Boomer & Craig last year and really got along well with the guys. Then he got hurt and was not heard from again. Well these days Canty is back on the field and having a productive year, so Al booked him and he joined the Program this morning. He talked about his road back to health, the Giants defense and the struggles of his old Cowboys team…

According to Jerry's update, Eli Manning was too high for practice yesterday. Jerry took liberties with a sound bite our boy Rocco cut up for him. Craig took it though and ran with it, harkening back to his college days up in Syracuse, when there were a lot of drugs being taken…

With the Mets lowering ticket prices, the guys were joined by the team's VP of Baseball Operations, David Howard. This interview got off to a bad start and never really recovered. Craig questioned why all of the ticket prices were reduced except for the cheap seats, which were actually increased by a dollar. Boomer did his best to keep things on track, but there was only so much the Blonde Bomber could do, as Howard seemed to be a bit taken back by Craig's line of questioning…

When the guys took a call from Mike he brought up the up-coming release of the video game, Call of Duty: Black Ops, which got Craig all excited. Not being a video game player, Boomer had no interest in the game; he told Craig that he prefers going to a shooting range and firing a real weapon, rather than waste his time in front of a TV playing a video game. Next thing you know Al got Craig's brother Jeff on the horn and from there, a skeet shooting wager between Boomer and Craig was born…
