FDNY Battles Four Alarm Staten Island Brush Fire
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The FDNY is battling a four alarm brush fire on Staten Island.
Fire officials said approximately 39 units comprising 168 firefighters are on the scene battling the blaze near Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze.
A portion of the fire near homes has been knocked down, according to officials, but the fire is still burning near the hospital at Seaview Avenue near Olympia Boulevard.
The hospital is not currently in any danger.
