NEW YORK (CBS 2) – Need a great side dish for Thanksgiving? Try Tony’s homemade cranberry sauce.
1 lb. Fresh Cranberries
1/2 Medium Bosc Pear
1/2 Medium Granny Smith Apple
4 oz. Dried Fruit & Nuts
1 Medium Orange
1/2 c. Sugar
3/4 c. Water
2 oz. Mint
Heat cranberries and water until cranberries break up and texture is smooth. Cube pear & apple, add to cranberries with dried fruit and nuts. Squeeze juice of orange into mixture. Add mint.
Heat three to four more minutes, then serve.
