NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are looking for clues into a gruesome double homicide in Brooklyn.

The bodies of two men were found on Schenectady Avenue around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

One of the victims was found inside a blood-soaked Ford Windstar, the other victim was slumped next to the vehicle, police said.

Both victims had been shot in the head.

The victims have been identified as 35-year-old Richard Philander and 31-year-old Damion Allen.

The murder rate in Brooklyn’s 67th Precinct is up over 30 percent in the past year.
