It's a Football Friday on the Boomer & Carton Morning Show, and the burning question on everyone's mind is whether or not the Jets will bounce back after the beating they took in Foxboro Monday Night. Next up for Gang Green is their old AFC East rivals, the Miami Dolphins. Rex has changed things up a bit and Craig thinks it's a sign of panic. Speaking of panicking, the Yankees appear to be pushing the panic button themselves. After leaving the winter meetings that saw the Red Sox acquire Adrian Gonzalez in a trade with the Padres and sign Carl Crawford to a 7-year, $142 million deal to patrol left field, the Yankees are reportedly ready to up their offer to Cliff Lee by adding a 7th year. Now Yankees fans find themselves in the unfamiliar position of waiting, waiting, waiting for Cliff Lee to make up his mind. Craig compared it to waiting for a call from a girl, or in Boomer's case, waiting for a phone call on Draft Day back in 1984, which for the record didn't come until the 2nd round (39th pick overall)…

Craig has taken quite a liking to a hot 'apple cider' drink from Starbucks; a drink that our 'Breakfast Coordinator' Rocco sees that he has every morning. Well while spending a day off in Washington, DC with Boomer, Craigie was forced to get his own hot 'apple-cider' drink and because of that he made the startling revelation that the drink is nothing more that apple juice heated up in a microwave. Very disappointing. To get further clarification, Al 'Hughes' Dukes made a call to Starbucks and during Jerry's update, Carol, the manager of the store called in and admitted that Craig's suspicions were in fact true…

Archie Griffin is the only man to ever win two Heisman Trophies (1974 & 1975) and with the Downtown Athletic Club (DAC) getting set to announce their 75th winner Saturday night, Al booked Griffin to come on and talk with Boomer & Craig about the significance of the award, Reggie Bush getting striped of his Heisman, and whether or not Cam Newton has any competition for this year's honor.
