BABYLON, NY (WCBS 880) - Investigators who helped catch serial killer Joel Rifkin have been brought in to assist in the case of four dead women found in Suffolk County.

WCBS 880 Long Island Bureau Chief Mike Xirinachs reports

They’re also preparing to bring in FBI specialists to help develop a profile of the killer.

In the meantime, as Suffolk County Police Commissioner Richard Dormer has said, identifying the victims is critical.

“We are looking at every missing person case in Suffolk County and surrounding communities. We’re looking at that as we speak,” says Dormer.

The commissioner says who the victims are and how they died are critical to solving this case.
