Giants’ Tollefson Sidelined With Knee Injury

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (WFAN/AP) — Philadelphia safety Nate Allen and New York backup defensive end Dave Tollefson were sidelined with right knee injuries during the Giants’ back-breaking loss to the Eagles Sunday.

Allen was hurt late in the second quarter when his knee seemed to buckle trying to stop near his own 10-yard line after a catch by New York’s Mario Manningham. He was carted off.

Tollefson was hurt making a tackle on an Eagles’ kickoff return earlier in the quarter.
