Christmas Decorations – Credit: Libby Langdon
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) - As Christmas approaches, your house might need, well, a little something extra.
Interior designer and TV host Libby Langdon says that, when decorating, look to nature.

“These days, simple is the key,” Langdon tells WCBS 880 midday anchor Pat Farnack. “A great trend that I think has happened in the last couple years is people are sort of moving away from so much plastic and so much decoration and a lot of decor is now incorporating natural elements. It’s about mixing a simple garland down the center of your table and putting some pine cones in and candles. But keeping it simple is actually a fresher, newer way to decorate for the holiday.”
Libby likes having an open house for maybe the day after Christmas – a good excuse to throw a relaxed get-together.
