NJ AG’s Office Investigator Carjacked In Newark

NEWARK, NJ (AP) – Authorities say an investigator with the state Attorney General’s was unharmed after being carjacked at gunpoint outside a store in Newark Wednesday night.

According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, two unidentified gunmen approached the investigator and took the keys to his BMW, then sped off. The suspects crashed the car a short time later and fled on foot.

The investigator, who was not in uniform, is assigned to the Medicaid fraud bureau of the state division of criminal justice.

    These have to be the stupidest punks ever.
    It’s like stealing pots/pans and you don’t know how to cook.
    Obviously they don’t know how to drive, they carjack for the thrill of it.
    Goes to show what type of parents and up-bringing they have.

    Cops better shoot to kill to stop this dangerous cycle.
