Bell Ringing Marathon In Rockefeller Center

"We share a little bit of the joy that we have to others," Balmori, who runs the Salvation Army in the Bronx, told WCBS 880 reporter Ginny Kosola. "...and people automatically, they come and they drop a coin. They help us to ring the bells. They kiss us. They hug us. They bring us coffee. So, I think it's a better experience. Joy acts is different"
Balmori says it's the first time they've tried the all-night bell ringing and it's been a big success.
They started at 6 p.m. Thursday and won't stop until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve.
