Liberal Group Criticizes Christie With Parody Website

TRENTON, N.J. (AP/WCBS 880) -- New Jersey's governor is the target of a new website that criticizes his out-of-state travels, including this week's trip to Disney World as a blizzard socked the Garden State.

The www.whereschristie.com site features photos from the governor's out-of-state campaign trips for Republican candidates altered to depict Chris Christie in a red-and-white stocking cap a la "Where's Waldo?"

The site was launched by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, a Washington-based liberal advocacy group.

Some Democrats criticized Christie this week for not cutting short his family's vacation trip to Florida.

Christie spokesman Michael Drewniak said the governor was briefed on the storm situation and emergency services functioned well in the governor's absence.
