Firefighters responded to a taxi on fire in Manhattan Thursday in the midst of the storm at 70th Street and Second Avenue.

Suddenly, the cab exploded. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire and explosion were under investigation.

I hope it was not terrorist related. Is there anyway we can have the TSA take over security of our taxi industry? Maybe body scanners before people enter a taxi cab? We need something! We are scared! HELP!
